What makes Ramp Up different

There are many ways to learn accessibility. This is what you get here.

  • A quiz after each module

Check that you understood, not just that you read.

  • A practice website

Audit a real, imperfect website and compare your findings with mine.

  • The official text, explained

Criteria are quoted from the official RAWeb, then explained in plain words.

  • A private Discord

One channel per course and per language, to ask questions and help each other.

  • Accessible, like what I teach

This platform aims to meet RAWeb level AA itself.

  • Pay once, keep it for life

Every update and every new course included, with no subscription.

Next in the catalogue

Lifetime access includes these courses too, as soon as each one is published.

  • Next course

    Audit with RGAA

Apply the same method to RGAA, the French accessibility framework, and learn what sets it apart.

  • In preparation

    Design for accessibility

Choose colours, typography, layouts and interactions that work for everyone, from the first sketch.

  • In preparation

    Accessible web forms

Build forms everyone can fill in: labels, instructions, errors and help that really guide people.

  • In preparation

    Accessible PDF documents

Create and fix PDF documents so that people using screen readers and other assistive technologies can read them.

What learners say

Reviews from my SuperProf students and from a class at the University of Strasbourg.

  • Rated 5 out of 5

Geoffrey is a great teacher. Passionate about web design, he passes that passion on through his lessons. I had no knowledge of the field and, after only our second lesson, I have already learned a huge amount. I can’t wait for our next lesson to learn even more. Thanks to him for his method, his patience and his excellent teaching skills!

A lovely exchange with Geoffrey. I really appreciated his personality: approachable, passionate and very human. Amazed by the breadth of his knowledge. A meeting as pleasant as it was enriching. Many thanks.

  • Our best teacher of the year, and the only one who joined our students’ Discord. If that isn’t commitment, I don’t know what is.

Meet Geoffrey

I have been writing and working in design, front-end development, design systems and accessibility for 18 years.

I had the chance to teach UX to wonderful students at the University of Strasbourg, France, and I regularly teach accessibility at Foyer Group, where I work today. Sharing and teaching have always felt like second nature to me.

My goal is simple: help you grow your skills and learn new things. Too often, what holds people back in their field, or in a neighbouring one, is only a lack of knowledge. Ramp Up is here to fix that.

Frequently asked questions

Are the free modules really free?

Yes. All you need is a free account: your first name and your email address, which you confirm with a link I send you. No payment details, ever. Your account also saves your progress.

What does lifetime access mean?

You pay once and keep access to every course. When lessons or courses are added or updated, for example when the standards change, you get them at no extra cost.

Which courses are included?

All of them. Lifetime access opens the RAWeb course today, then each new course as it is published: RGAA, accessible design, accessible forms and accessible PDF documents.

Will the price change?

Yes, it goes up as new courses are published. The price you pay never changes after your purchase, and every course published afterwards is included.

Do I need to be a developer?

No. The course starts from the basics and explains each idea in plain words. Some lessons show code, always with an explanation of what to look for.

Is VAT included?

Ramp Up is professional training, intended for professionals and organisations, so prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout when it applies. The terms of sale explain the details.

Where can I ask for help?

In the private Discord for learners. Each course has one channel per language, where you can ask your questions and help each other.
